Good question…What do you think?

Steve Hays has produced a short article over at Triablogue on this. Take a look.

  1. Disrnr Says:

There’ll be plenty of “Arminians” in heaven—much to the surprise of all the hard-core Calvinists who think that their Geneva pope invented the Gospel.

    Sigh.

-Notice that the title says “irrational” not “heretical.”

Re: “…much to the surprise of all the hard-core Calvinists who think that their Geneva pope invented the Gospel.”

-Any ‘Calvinist’ who would claim there are no “Arminians” [the link in this post makes it clear that the term is being used of synergists in general] in heaven is not “hard-core,” but is characterized by grave error, if not an outright heretical lack of charity.

-But please document ANY example of a “Calvinist” who “think[s] that their Geneva pope invented the Gospel;” as a Reformed Baptist, this is certainly not my view, nor the view of anyone I’ve ever met/heard from/ read.
